I think it’s good to be facebook/myspace friends with exes even when you don’t necessarily want to be real friends with them (unless they’re total jerks). It’s nice to keep in touch somehow–I’m always at least a little bit curious about what their lives are like now.

Great video, what you say about the deletion is very useful, even in terms of old friends.
It’s almost like by keeping them on there (so you can check up on them at a whim and I imagine visa versa) it is continuing to prove or reaffirm…Something…

great video and great speech! I’m kinda in the middle… if I don’t have ANY feelings to my ex, for me is no problem to have him as my friend. Actually I had my ex for a long time, I completely forgot about him /I did hide-him on News Feed/ and a couple of months later he deleted me cos he found new girlfriend. It made me laugh but I’m completely cool with it. We didn’t have any contact so for me it wasn’t anything special or painful.

It’s worse when we still have feelings for someone or that person hurt us. I think in this case they should be gone in every part of our lives and just move on!

Honestly, I’ve had one-night crushes on so many people that I can’t even keep track. If they broke my heart or we were ever “in love” then it’s a no. But if I had a 2-day crush and we kissed at a party I think its ok

great follow-up video! i really enjoyed watching this, especially as someone who is married as well! i totally agree with you and ned about deleting ex’s. What about crushes? If one is in a relationship, should they delete their former crushes as well? I’m going to go with yes on this one too.
